- According to this website, you need a Hobby Breeder or Kennel license for breeding ANY pet. http://www.ecqba.org/stateleg/florida.html Unfortunately, I can't find anything specific to Bengal breeding, but you might want to check out the American Kennel Club. Edit: Well pardon me, Percy, but the AKC was referenced on a bunch of sites that I found while I was trying to find an answer for this question. Just because I answered this question doesn't make me a breeder.
- "Check out the American Kennel Club"? LOL that's for DOGS! Cat organizatons - TICA, ACFA, CFA. There's PLENTY of Bengal breeders. Please leave breeding to the experts. Especially Bengals which have wild cat in their background. If you want something to do go help out at your local shelter with all those homeless cats and kittens looking for homes. And if you're looking to do this to make money - you won't. Breeders only make money when they've been established for awhile and are selling cats from CHAMPION bloodlines. And they only turn a profit (if they every do) after years and YEARS as building a reputation means spending loads of money at cat shows. Cat breeding is VERY expensive and those doing it do so to better a breed - not to make money.
