How are bengal cats with small animals?
okay so hopefully in a week the breeder will have my new kitten ready to take home. Currently i have a guinea pig. I was wondering, do they get along with small pets? I would take it, if they grow up as a kitten, it will learn to like it.. lol right? thanks for the help. esp anyone who may have small animals and a bengal.

- small animals can choke a bengal..so be careful
- I would work very hard to keep the two separate. Bengals are the domestic cats which are closest in behavior to wild cats and have a high prey instinct. While he may get used to it, even a Bengal kitten can do a lot of damage to a guinea pig just by playing with it. There is no need to get rid of the guinea pig, just make sure the cat won't be able to get to it.
- Contrary to popular belief, bengals are not 'wildcats' - they are just carefully bred housecats with spots. They will behave just like any other housecat. Any predator will show interest in a small rodent and should always be supervised and trained to stay away from it, but it's not going to behave any differently than any other cat would in the same situation.
- Bengals love small pets------FOR BREAKFAST!
