How do I stop my Maine Coon cat from chewing all my electrical wires?
I have tried hot sauce. I have to cover all my wires with car wire covers.

- Get this stuff at a store called no-more-wires and then spray it on the wires the cat will stop because it tastes bad
- there is a training spray that works for dogs and cats. spary it on the cords and they will stay away. you might have to keep spraying it but it does work.
- try traning the cat
- Plug them in and just wait. Your cat will get a slight twinge when it gets thru the insulation and probably won't chew them after that.
- i have had the same problem with norwegian forest cats crosses and my seven week old kittens are doing it now. i have wrapped them in tin foil at the moment it is working. my sister used bitter apples on her wires which also worked.
- The only way is to hide the wires
- Put tinfoil on the wires it' ll work.
- get a chew toy for your cat
- It's probably just a quirk for the cat. We have a Maine Coon that chews things as well.
- Same problem here all you have to do is get a spray bottle Shout NOOO! Then if they don't stop *skwirt...skwirt* they should stop in 3days-a week. Mine stoped in a 4days
- there are sprays you can buy that will deter the cat from chewing, scratching or going in that area
- same here
- cats cant stand lemon get a lemon spray and spray it round the area.
