  1. i think the bengal
  2. I believe the maine coon cats are larger in size, considering that they are one of the largest domestic cats, nicknamed "the gentle giants"
  3. Well, benagls can vary greatly in size, ranging anywhere from 1-two feet in width. How big is your coon cat?
  4. I think a Maine Coon. If you have a neutered male "ordinary" cat they can get pretty big. My males are 15 pounds and not fat. My females are little smaller at about 10 pounds/
  5. Bengal cats.
  6. According to what I just read below - the Bengal are. http://www.bigcatrescue.org/bengal_cats.htm
  7. eh..my main coon mix is over 17 pounds...i'd wager they're the bigger breed.
  8. Hi Stacey...the Bengal cat can be equivalent in size the Maine Coon cat and sometimes larger. Another up and coming breed that is larger than both the Bengal and Maine Coon is the Savannah cat which is a cross with the African Serval and Bengal/domestic cat. Savannah's stand approximately at 16"-22" at shoulder height weighing up to 35 pounds: http://www.hdw-inc.com/savannahwhatis.htm
  9. it depends because some bengal cats run large but i think maine coons are larger . the savanah cats is largest domestic cat i know. but too expensive for me =)
  10. Hi there ! I have 2 Bengals, so I have to say the maine coons are larger. Coons can get up to 20 pounds +. Bengals get up to 15 pounds ( males ) at the most.
  11. maine coon
  12. The bengal is typically the larger of the two. It would be difficult to know without seeing the parents. Typically the bengal will be biggest overall. They are actually tough cats to own. They are not usually very lap friendly, they are VERY territorial. Main Coon Cats, although a little smaller, are usually more "loveable."
