trying to find a place in halifax nova scotia for to rescue maine coon cats to good home ?

i am looking for a place that has rescues of maine coone cats for good home i love the breed i have one he is 27 years old , i am looking to find another one they r so layback and wonderful little person with fur, i thought i would ask on yahoo site for answers thank you. dohder2006 i am in halifax nova scotia canada

Also, how long do Maine Coon cats live? Since you said yours is 27.
2. wow, 27! that's amazing....as far as finding a rescue.....you can always try the newspaper too. Even an animal pound will have pure breeds sometimes. Sometimes you just need to go there and see, or call them.....good luck!
