Can Cats Burp?

I was sitting at home watching TV and in between commercials there was a pause and it was kinda quiet for a sec. All the sudden I heard what I thought was a burp. It was only me, and I know I didn't do it! And NO! It didn't come out of the other end! I know what you guys are thinking! Anyways, my cat was on the couch with me. My cat was the only thing that could have done that. Weird?! So I looked at him and he looked a little guilty. I had my camera phone, what do you think?   5. My mom likes to say:If a dog can burp, a cat can burp. Though a dog doesnt burp like humans. It doesnt even open his mouth. It keeps his mouth shut.
  6. Ahah sweet. Yes they can. And they sneeze and fart and hiccup.. The other day i was holding my cat and it was just me and him.. All i heard was a loup Squeek kinda thing. Then it started to kind REALLY bad. Lol.. He freakin farted on my lap.. He must love me.. :P Any ways .. Comical.
  7. Cute picture, cats can burp, hiccup and of course let out what I call deadly green fog for farts that can take the paint or wallpaper off the walls. Beware though if you cat does this a lot because he may be eating something that doesn't agree with him or he could have the equivalent of acid reflux, so a once in a while or once in a lifetime burp is fine but if it happens a lot pay attention to what and how much he is eating.
  8. Oh yeah they can burb I have seen it with my mums cat, and they can fart, no matter what they eat it still smells of rotten fish lol, my bunnies fart now and then
  9. Yep they can. I was carrying one of ours over my shoulder and patted his back like a baby, and he burped really loud. I didn't expect it but it made sense when I thought about it.
