Why do cats eat pictures?

2. I think cats eat anything that is paper, cause i have a cat and she eats papers i have laying on the counter and she tears up toilet paper and everything...dont know why but they seem to love it!!

4. Cats love to play with plastic bags, pictures, paper.. things like that. Never heard of one actually eating it, but they do play with them alot. The reason your cat probally ate the picture is most likey the same reason most cats play with plastic bags. They love the texture. Hard to understand, but it's the same reason dogs lick shoes. They like the way it tastes, plus cats are naturally curious. There is a sticky substance on pictures that alot of cats probally like to lick, so your cat was probally attracted to the sticky substance inside the picture, or the "weird" feeling of the picture itself.
5. My cat will attempt to lick the picture but she's never eaten one... they must like the way it tastes.

7. I actually do not know the answer to this question but I'd like to say that our cat while he doesn't eat pictures he does lick them. I have always thought that maybe it's the taste of the chemicals on the pictures. It's probably not good for them at all and I always try to get him to stop when he does that.
