LOL Cats Halp Plz?

I get most of the references on 'I can haz cheezeburger?' like "Ceiling Cat" and 'nom nom nom", but I don't understand the Walrus and Bucket stuff. Can anyone please explain?

1. No... perhaps someone threw their cat at the ceiling. Maybe the other cat says "nom nom nom" when it's surfing.

3. I think the Walrus got his bucket stolen. That's all I know though. Someone took it. So now it's referenced in other photos.
4. Oh, that would be the guy right over there you need to talk to. He knows everything about Elephants and Sharks with no teeth. He even has Ice Cream with no bones!
5. ha i didn't get it either the bucket search party thing my boyfriend told me it was about some inside joke where a group of walruses lost their bucket? i know..lol it's really strange
