Which small dog in this list is very good with children at a 12 years old?

My 12 years old male cousin wants a dog that is small and very good with children, very easy to house train, and very AAADDDOOORRRAAABBBLLLEEE!!!He wants one from these lists. 1. Toy Poodle. My toy poodle is 11 years old now. He is a joy!
2. The dog in the second link is a yorkie. As far as good dogs, any dog can be good, especially smaller dogs. It all depends on how it is raised. Housebreaking is basically the same with any dog. It is a long process that involves a lot of patience.
3. I have a pomeranian puppy and he's very energetic, yet sturdy enough to play with a "big kid" like that. He's kinda hard to potty train though. But so worth it. The good thing about mine though is now he's 7 months old and SO smart. It takes like, 2 days to teach him a 'habit'. Even if that habit is getting up to pee at 7am. If you let him have access to a back yard though, I think a pomeranian would learn to potty train very quickly. The adorable baby in the sweater looks like a miniature yorkie or a maltese, possibly a mix. Good luck.

6. I have 2 mini doxens and they are so much more adorable than a regular doxen. Mine have been loyal to me for the last two years. I have a 4 yr old sister and they get along great with her we have never had a problem with her and the dogs. She is much younger than your cousin so they should work out fine. Mine were easy to house train but with any dog it does take work. That dog in that pic looks like a Yorkshire Terrier puppy.
7. the little dog in the square is a yorkie. Any small breed would be ok with an older child. A 12 year old is old enough to learn how to properly handle and respect a dog. Its ussually smaller children and toddlers that small dogs are not reccomended for. Most small dogs are very difficult to housebreak. It can be done, but its more difficult than with a larger breed. They have smaller bladders and shorter digestive systems and need out more often. I think your cousin should get some dog books from the library and read about different breeds and choose what he thinks best fits his lifestyle. Help him google "Dog breed selector" and use that to help choose a breed. You can also look at different dogs at www.petfinder.com www.akc.org and www.dogbreedinfo.com. If its going to be his dog, he needs to help make the decision on what breed he should get.
8. a boy wants a small dog like that? I cant remember the name of those dogs but that one Id say no, too dainty and fragile and your cousin will lose interest after the newness wears off. Id say go with one of the following small yet more active: 1) beagle 2) mini dauchound(my nephew whose 8yrs had one) found this website/book to get or read: google the following: small dogs for a boy and it comes up with book results to go read or get to advise on this. good luck!

10. Well I do love dogs so I would know this. I recommend a Toy Pomeranian. They are the sweatiest dogs ever and they work great with 12 year old kid.
11. DON'T get a dachshund. I have two mini doxies, and they are wonderful, wonderful dogs, who are perfect for ME, but... They are NOT easy to housebreak at all, some are NOT good with children, and their backs are fragile and have to be treated a certain way to maintain the health of their spine, so they are not necessarily an ideal companion for a kid. Mine aren't particularly fond of kids either. I suggest you do a lot of reading instead of just asking here, because many small breeds are notoriously difficult to housebreak and some can be snappy with kids. I would go with the Cavalier,or the Norfolk or Norwich terriers.They are sturdy,playful little dogs.Really,though,with a twelve -year - old,you could go with any of the dogs,as he 's plenty old enough to know to treat a dog gently ( I hope!) 13. Check your local animal rescue. Do not buy dogs from breeders and pet shops. The dogs there dont need your help . They have a nice house to live in while they are waiting to get bought. But shelter dogs dont get many chances. Thousands of shelter dogs get put to sleep each year. Dont buy while rescue dogs die!! You may just find a toy sized mutt thats just as loveable and adorable as any of the dogs on the website you pasted. I know I found one.
14. i would say yorkie but "tweens" tend to be rough with them and they are small so you would have to watch where your going other than that they are perfect, lovable( if your 12 year old is a girl) and playful (if ur 12 year old is a boy)
15. The dog in the square is a Yorkshire Terrier. Most small breed for a 12 yr. old would work. The Pug is a sturdy little dog as opposed to a fragile Chihuahua or mini Pinscher, therefore I`d say for a boy, probably the Pug would be a good choice.
16. Yorkies aren't Bad either are Havanese Dogs! But I would start of with a Bigger dog. I got my First Dog and he was a Small one and He was just a pain In the patoot. lol.. We have a GoldenDoodle. right now they come In 25 35 pound or 65 to 70 Pounds Check this ladies site out she Is a Breeder who Is very Nice and this Is where we baught our Coppers! We <3 Him to Death... He Is the sweetest and Very Intelligent! And Non agressive and since It's mixed from a Poodle & Golden Retriever they Barely Shed If they do at all! We <3 HIM!! 17. The dog in the square is a Yorkshire Terrier, AKA a Yorkie. I had an Italian Greyhound when I was that age, and it was the best dog I ever had, they are very loving and loyal to their owners. Boston Terriers are also good with kids, but they are very hyperactive. I wouldn't recommend a chihuahua, as they are very temperamental and tend to bite. I hope this helps!
