Cross Breeds

IS there a site that shows what different breeds of dogs would look like if bred together ? ex ; beagle/basset

I am curious about what different dogs would look like if they were bred together . I know there are newer breeds of dogs like Labradoodle . I just wonder if there is a site specified to showing what different breeds would appear as if they were bred together . Any help would be appreciated :)

  1. Yes - any shelter's website is filled with the mutts you're looking for.
  2. petfinder.com just a little insight. labradoodle isnt a breed it is a mutt. and no good breeder would intentionally breed two different dogs together.
  3. http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/designerdogs.htm but not all mutts look the same, they could inherit different traits from their parents, even in the same litter mutts could look totaly different.
  4. Dogs that are mixed aren't breeds. They are mixed. Be curious about it, that's okay but don't act on your curiosity.
  5. Yes, go to any shelter and you will see the results of all that cross breeding - random at best. By the way "newer" breeds like labradoodle are NOT breeds at all, they are mixes, mutts which unscrupulous back yard breeders sell to the clueless public for lots of money. No reputable breeder breeds crossbreeds - they are not AKC registerable and cannot be shown, nor do they breed true. You would be very upset if you knew how many of these crossbreeds these breeders kill because they are nothing like what they can sell as the mix advertised. It's a horror, anyone who would help this sick money making scheme is not thinking straight.
