What are the best dogs breeds for someone with dander allergies?

I've heard labra-doodles and Rotweiler mixes can be good. (I love Rotties but not a poodle lover at all). Also any tips you have on meds will help too. PS I am asthmatic.

1. Maybe a Chinese Crested dog. There's a breed with no fur - kind of a strange looking dog and they used to be called the Chinese editable dog but this breed is probably easy on the allergies.
2. Asthma and reactive Airway Disease. No Dog is the best. If you must, a short hair breed with a minimum of dander. It is the dander that caused the allergy. Short hair dogs (some) tend not to shed as much, which spreads the dander. MEDS change so fast it is hard to say. You dont want to be on Asthma meds like Theophyilin or Inhalers just to tolerate a pet. You are asking for more problems. Go to an allergist and get de-sensitisation testing and treaments. Expensive but well worth while.
3. I have a short haired chihuahua and she doesnt shed a very cute lovable dog too! she is very small though not like a rotweiler but is very good at protecting us.
4. I am allergic to cats and dogs....but when i was in college my roommate and I decided to get a dog. We ended up getting a really cute Chow Chow mix....which is a chinese breed. They have a different type of hair and dander that is typically hypoallergetic. I never had any problems!! The most important thing to do is vaccum at least once a week...use Febreeze Allergy reducer on furniture and if the animal is still bothering you get a prescription for zyrtec or another allergy med.
