How do you keep unwanted dogs and cats off your property?
Cats and dogs are always seen in my front yard. I myself, have no pets, just some ignorant neighbors who let their pets out. I have no idea on who these animals belong to. I'm looking for a very inexpensive way on keeping these nuicances out of my yard, for good!

- Start calling the SPCA on them, then the owners will do a better job at keeping an eye on there pets
- Try a motion activated sprinkler system : )
- Pellet gun... be inconspecuious.
- pee around your perimeter.
- Talk to your neighbours about it?
- everytime you see them take the hose and WET them!! and scream like crazy!
- its called a fence
- Put some ammonia in those 1 gallon water jugs. Put 1 at each corner of your yard. Dogs and cats are nosy, so they'll always sniff to see what it is. It hurts their noses like hell and eventually they'll stop coming around.
- Write on a board - DOGS AND CATS ARE NOT ALLOWED Try it!
- I know this is going to sound a bit crude but human urine will stop a stray dog from entering your property. Try whizzing along the area you want the animal to avoid. They also make some wonderful products at most pet stores that contain phermones to keep animals away. As a last resort...call the animal control. But remember that most animals are killed when picked up.
- Plant a tomato garden and when the tomatoes start to ripen, use a syringe and inject them with antifreeze! Thatll learn em!
- There is a spray at like pet smart or pet stores called no no and u spray it on ur yard every few weeks until they no longer come around
- Some of the larger garden stores like Green Thumb are carrying coyote or bobcat urine - the real thing. Smells like hell. Use it sparingly at the perimiter of your front yard. Animals will steer clear. So will the mailman, the UPS man, the FEDEX guy, your mother etc. for a while.
