Do you ever wonder what goes on inside your dogs/cats head?

Would you like for just one hour to get inside your dog/cat's mind and know how/what they are thinking? Do you ever wonder what they think of you and people in general? Do you think they have the same or similiar emotions, needs, wants that people do?

  1. hmmmmmm i to wounder wot goes on in there head dogs are proberly thinkig of chasing cats and cats are thinking of chasing mice lol
  2. i think about that same thing at least 63 times a day, i have 7 cats and 12 dogs, also some various fish and birds, they are all i have in the world and i wish they could just open their peanut sized brains up and speak to me in fluent spanish. however this seems impossible i believe one day with our rapidly advancing scientific world this dream will become a reality, but for now i will just enjoy my cheese lumps and ice crumpets and tea with my 32 animals and cry to the heavens above while chanting "mama im coming home" the ozzy osbourne classic hit. sigh........
  3. my dog would have something to say like this"just throw the damn ball" my cat"You know if you were smaller than me i would eat you"
  4. If you've had your animals for quite awhile and have been paying attention to their subtle behaviors you CAN get into their heads. I have 6 cats, all raised from infants, and are between the ages of 10 weeks to 16 years. Three of them are 4 years old and from the same litter. Each has it's own unique personality but the "signs" of what they are thinking are there. The only real way to check out if your theory is right about what they are thinking or feeling is to see if their behavior follows what you think it should. For example, one of my cats will climb on my chest frequently when I'm laying down but sometimes he will gently bite the tip of my nose while laying on me. I "know" when he will do this, which is pretty rare, cause he gets a "drunk" look in his eyes. That's just one small example. So when he gets that "drunk look" I know he has been feeling very relaxed, comfortable, and particularly loving. He never does this to anyone else but he thinks I'm his person, NOT that he is MY cat. Just start paying close attention to subtle appearances, i.e. pupils getting large or small, twitches of ears, tail posture, then see the behaviors that follow or even precede these appearances.
  5. I sure do. My cats always looks at me and have this cutest look on his face and I always wonder what he's thinking about? Wish I could know.
