- first start with your if u have one... spay and/or nuter next, try feeding them if you see they need some help call local animal shelters, tell other people about the problems that go "un-noticed" and if in another country, try to tell other people who live their to help you, so you kno where to bring them, etc.
- Hmm, what is there to do? With only a few weird exceptions, animals have ALWAYS lived outside. They are adapted to the outside. They have coats and other survival mechanisms for regulating their internal temperatures and adapting to the various seasons. One really good way of helping pets is to not breed them, or at least, to try to prevent indiscriminate breeding. Just like with people, there has been a huge pet population explosion, and animals are discarded and left to fend for themselves without having been raised to learn to fend for themselves. It causes them great hardship, but people are often cruel and irresponsible and think only of their own needs or desires. Once the damage is done and the pet has been discarded though, what can you do? Make sure they're adoptable and then try to find homes for them? That's not an easy proposition and certainly there's not a lot that one person can do by themselves, although that one person can certainly make a big difference in a few animals lives. Kill them to put them out of their misery? But what if their misery was about to end in a much more happy way, because their owners came back and got them, or they were about to find a new home? Feed them? Can you keep on feeding them? Can you feed all of them? Are you just prolonging their misery? Its hard, and its not pleasant. Try to show them a few kindnesses. Try to keep others from being unnecessarily cruel.
