Who is the worst killer of dogs and cats?
From July 1998 through December 2005, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) killed over 14,400 dogs, cats, and other "companion animals." That's more than five defenseless creatures every day. PETA has a walk-in freezer to store the dead bodies, and contracts with a Virginia Beach company to cremate them. So what are they doing protesting Vick? http://www.petakillsanimals.com/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/People_for_the_Ethical_Treatment_of_Animals#Animal_euthanasia_and_criminal_charges http://www.peta.org/mc/factsheet_display.asp?ID=39 (I'm a Steelers fan... couldn't care less about Atlanta...)

- we have to start someone where i guess i am not sure. but its sad all around because we have found that mistreatment of animals will go to people and vise versa. its learnt and this is sad we have to try and build and stop it.
- Great question I wanna see stats on how many dogs are put into the dog food
- Also, the liberal media is covering up the even worse treatment of animals in China, because they're not the United States, and they don't want to cover it because of that. In other words, they don't want any outrage toward anyone but the U.S. The liberal media knows there will be outrage such as this, and that's what they're trying to prevent. The same with 9/11 where they've censored most of since around September 12, and haven't shown that which will unite the American people.
- It all balls down to the racist world we live in.
- the PETA are simply seeking money for their cases. its how most people are, motivated by greed. everywhere you go, animals will be treated cruelly. companies for clothes abuse animals too. there was once a video on youtube showing animals in cages (filled completely with 5-6 animals in each one) being dropped down to the ground from a big truck. the animals were abused and they were quite maimed
- I think my Vietnamese neighbor ate my dog
- I am they just have not caught me yet! F PETA These people use to release the animals from the mink farm near me. All these animals end up doing is dieing in the woods.
- Automobile drivers. Idiotic, cruel people.
- You must be a Falcons fan.
- Unfortunately people mistreat or abandon animals every day and they wind up in shelters. Some can be rehabilitated and may be adopted. Nut for the large majority they are either too far gone physically, or are too antisocial from the abuse for adoption. The shelters don't have the resources to maintain all these animals so they have to be euthanised. As to Vick, he is entitled to his day in court as provided in the constitution. If he did what he's charged with then that's despicable but let's wait for the verdict before calling names.
- I read the wiki article you linked and was surprised to learn of the animal killings done by the PETA employees. I can't for the life of me figure out what they stood to gain by their actions. I guess PETA is just as corrupt as Vick seems to be cruel.
- PETA people are way too radical for me. However, did you check into stats about local SPCAs and other shelters and what their #s are for euthanizing? Not pretty. In my county we are all working to become a "no kill" county like some already are. The reasons so many dogs and cats are euthanized is unresponsible pet owners who let them breed and breed. No other. Also, you can in no way compare the Michael Vick case. His is down right cruelty and no respect for life. I'm sorry, but he should be a better role model for kids what with his being in the public eye and all. Not a sports fan, but no one on this earth is worth getting paid that much money for what he does. That goes for all sports.
- the SPCA.
