What small breed is the best with other dogs?

I'm thinking about getting a small dog (maintenance and care do not matter) that is O.K. with other dogs because of the amount near our house. what breed do you suggest? (It can be a designer dog.)

1. I think it all depends on how well you socialize the dog. any dog can be a great dog when socialized right.
2. It all depends on the individual dog. Head on over to the local animal shelter; an adoption counselor would be able to help you out. Don't support designer mutt breeders.

4. well if u want a small dog go for a bichon friese ther very loving and smal but if u are going to get a dog plz adopt :) u dont know hwta au might find at a shelter!
5. A designer dog? Do you mean high priced mutts? Go to your local animal shelter and rescue a good dog in need of a good home. The shelters are full of those so called "designer breeds" that people bought for lots of money and then threw away. Sad but so true so good luck to you.
