How are Boxer dogs at running? I heard that they cant because of breathing problems, is this true?

1. Boxers love to run. My neighbor has 3 of them and they can run all day long...
2. My two Labs have a boxer friend called Bruno and he can chase them around the field without having any breathing problems.
3. All the boxers I've seen at the dog park can outrun any dog there (okay, maybe not the greyhounds and Irish wolfhounds). The bull dog my dog plays with has to take a break sometimes to catch his breath.
4. I have a mixed breed dog (possibly a ridgeback mix) that can run forever. He gets bored playing with our lab because she just isn’t fast enough to keep up with him and she gets tired after a while. I often take him to the dog park to give him a chance to play with dogs that can keep up with him better. Boxers tend to be his favorite playmates because they can keep up well. Every Boxer I have ever seen has been a great runner.
5. my aunt has a boxer and i chase him all over and then he chases me so i say no!
6. They can run. You just don't want to take them out during the hottest part of the day.
