  1. "races"? Dogs? Here's a cutesy little site: http://www.i-love-dogs.com/
  2. There are no races of dogs. There are species of dogs.
  3. Go to the American Kennel Club Web site: http://www.akc.org/breeds/breeds_a.cfm
  4. A few great websites are: http://www.akc.org/ http://www.ckc.ca/en/ http://www.ukcdogs.com/ These are breed clubs, and will give you photos and desciptions of all the recognized breeds. Remember that some breeds are recognized in one country, but not another (eg. UK but not America). Mixed breeds, such as the multipoo, cockapoo, labradoodle, etc are not new breeds, nor are they hybrids. They are mixed breeds, plain and simple. Try to find a breed book in your local thrift stores, there are many, and it is interesting to read one from the '60s to compare to the breeds now. Good luck! I love reading about all kinds of animals, and use these sites myself often. Oh, and they are called breeds, not races nor species (species would be wolf, coyote, domestic dog, etc). TDK
  5. They are not called "races," in a dog they are called "breeds." There are several good sites. I would recommend www.dogbreedinfo.com. You can also just search google for "dog breed" and get live five bazillion hits. ;) Good luck!
  6. www.google.com www. yahoo.com
  7. I think you mean breeds of dogs. Go to www.akc.org and you will find a list of all the AKC recognized breeds with photos, and everything else you would want to know.
  8. www.dogbreedinfo.com This is an excellent site to check out all kinds of different dog breeds
  9. Well,at least you admit it! LOL Better than a LOT of people! Go to the AKC site @akc.org Read the BREED STANDARDS!
  10. you mean breeds of dogs? Try the AKC
  11. http://www.akc.org
  12. www.puppyfind.com You will find the breed information, grooming information, maintainence information, local breeders selling a certain breed. Though I highly recommend buying from a breeder close to you whose willing to provide email address, daytime phone number, mailing address and so that you can see the pup's mom and dad onsite. Beware of online scams!!! Don't buy from a breeder where your pups are shipped to you. If they ask for money transfer info before even asking about you and your info that is a huge problem!!! True breeders are more concerned with their pups going into good loving homes rather then just getting rid of them! If they can't provide a number where you can speak with someone directly, don't bother! That's how my sister got scammed! If the breeder you find locally or near you refuse to meet up with you for the puppy purchase don't waste you're time, its a scam as well! Buy safely, if in doubt research! Or go to local shelter or pennysaver for pups near you!
