Years ago a movie that was about kids, a snowball fight, snow castle and a dog died. what was the movie name? I think the movie was canadian. The dog died when the two groups were fighting and the castle collapsed and the dog was in the escape tunnel. They buried the dog in pit inside a barn filling it with either grain or corn. I also think the kid who masterminded the snow castle creation was possibly chinese. The movie might have been filmed in the early to mid 80's.

It is probably from the mid to early 90's or in the 80's. It is not "snow dogs" or "8 below". Anyway, so in the movie some guy decides to dog sled this whole team and there is an older gray female lead husky and in the end of the movie she gets hurt or disappears or something and so they go on without her, but at the end she shows up and it's like OMG MOMENT! There was also a black husky in it, I think his name was Jack (but I could be wrong) and he was younger but in the end he becomes the lead dog because the gray female lead is hurt when they take her back. All the rescues I know are already gearing up for the influx of dogs that will result 12-18 mos. from now. The parents take their children to the movie and then buy the "cute, smart, little puppy" that junior just has to have. Low and behold they don't train themselves, knock the kids down playing too rough, eat the couch and the miniblinds, etc. The parents then decide that is was just a bad dog because they certainly aren't responsible for this ill mannered creature (the dog nor the angel child) that they paid soooo much money to the BYB for without educating themselves first. Anyone else feel the frustration? I guess we can just be glad there are no elephants in the pet store/classified!

can my siberian be a cross breed ? i keep telling my wife that we have a purebreed sibe. i adopted my boy diesel 2 months ago from a shelter. i paid the maximum adoption fee 300 dollars because of his age and breed. i don't have a picture i can put on here nor do i know how but for anyone that saw the movie snow dogs, he looks just like "demon". he's black and white with ice blue eyes and a blaze mask. the wierd thing is his legs seem a lot longer than a standard sibe and at 7 months he's 54lbs and it says that full grown male sibes are 60-65 lbs. at the rate he's growing he's going to exceed that. don't know what he could be crossed with if anything. he has every characteristic of a sibe just a little big and tall for his age. for one sandi i am just interested and two he was only in a shelter because his previous owners were elderly and had health problems and couldn't take care of him. so they had to give him up.

What movie/book is this? The grandpa is ill in this book. It's in Alaska, and the boy staying with him takes care of him, and enters a snow dog sledding race to win money to pay for his medicine so that the grandpa can get better. Throughout the movie and book they consider taking the young boy somewhere else to live but he shows them that him and the grandpa have a sort of sign language.

Anyone know the name of this 10 hour long movie???? My friend let me borrow this movie one time and it was REALLY good. It was 10 HOURS long I believe it came out around 1999, about a girl who lives in NY with her father who is a mechanic of the apartment they live in, and a prince that was turned into dog. The prince (dog) goes through a mirror and trolls follow so does "Wolf[man]" who is sent by the evil queen who was inspired by the queen from Snow White to find the prince (dog) The girl runs into the dog and "Wolf". Wolf falls in love with her. The girl's father is given a bean and makes bad choices so the cops are after him. The dog leads the girl and her father through the portal back to his castle. Movie Help? Can anyone tell me the name of this movie.....? Its based on an older period. It's about a boy (5yr) who loves 2 draw when he is little, he has a girl best friend name Louise and his dog name is either Pitrash or Patriach. The boy lives with his grandfather. I don't remember his name but he and Louise use to play 2gether. He would go to this area where all the rich town pple were an attempt to draw a picture of this statue, a man (famous painter spotted him there 1 day and told him his art was good and to keep trying. So as time went on the boy's grandather died and he was left alone (age 10)with his dog, they went everywhere 2gether. By this time his friend Louise parents would'nt allow her to associate with him because he was considered poor. Anyway the boy wanted to enter an art contest an a guy accepted his painting when he saw how good it was. He did'nt win but later on something happened an the boy ran away an passed out n the snow, he was found, turns out the famous painter was his father, i think his mom died giving birth.

Can someone tell me the name of the movie...? It's an older movie and I believe we had to watch it in late elementary school.
