Greatest Race Horses Knowledge Base
who was the greatest race horse and why? I'm curious to see peoples opinion on who they think is or was the greatest race horse and why they think so we have had a few greats over time and just wanted to know what people thought was the best.
Who was the greatest race horse of all? Just so you know,? the greatest racehorse of all time must be, without a doubt, a Hungarian filly by the name of Kincsem. Her name stems from the root word "Kincs" which is Hungarian for "treasure" or "jewel", and the entire word means "My Treasure". Over the course of four full seasons, from ages 2 - 5, she faced the best that all of Europe had to offer, and emerged victorious in all 54 of her races. Both very interesting. I never heard of Carbine, but I've certainly heard of a good number of his descendants. And you are right, the greatest can not be known, only speculated about.
Who was tha greatest race horse? CIGAR BY FAR!? And not Because he was more recent. Talk to any Horseman worth their salt. Sure there are other greats and Im sure more popular ones, but Cigar would Mow them all down! To: "Hmm. Why are you asking this question if you've already decided on an answer? Is there a point here?" Because STUPID Yahoo has the other question Locked that was posed after one day and I am permitted to express my opinion. Thanks Diamond I "you need to do some more research on Thoroughbred racing history" No I think you do. i know my history well. Go back and look at the stats and the distance in which he won by. Who do you think I am, a kid? Again, just because a horse has been Glorified for years and is more popular, doesnt make him the better Horse. Again, ask real horseplayers that have been around the game for 30-50 years playing and you will find the Answer is undoubtedly Cigar. This has nothing to do with knowing history, it spunds more like it does in your case though because you've been bombarded with Stories of Greatness as has everyone else and cant help but think Secretariat and such are better than Cigar. Its not your fault that you dont know any better. Well I have done the Sheets for every great horse & no one ran negative numbers(Lower # the better,0= Great! Minus is better) be as much or consistantly as Cigar. The whole reason I did them was because talking to real horseplayers that have been around way longer than I, the consensus was clearly Cigar. My Favorite Horse is Dr Fager which is what brought about these conversations in the first place. From pure racing stats, I have to agree with them that Cigar was the best ever. Those of you that don't know of the sheets will poo poo it & even some of you that do but dont believe in their formula will as well but they are clearly the best barometer for ability & performance ever produced. The Beyer figures have some flaws even though widely used. Its not terrible, but it is flawed as I started out using beyer many moons ago & the Sheets (Ragozin) are the best tool by far. It's Cigar for me But Dr Fager is still my Fav.The question wasnt your Favorite & I think some of you got confused.
What race horses have been claimed-then gone on to fame? Horses that were considered nobodies...then they turned out to become great or good horses. Horses like Seabiscuit,Lava Man etc. I would love to find some older horses, rather than recent ones. but those suggestions are great too! Thanks!
The greatest thoroughbred horse race in India.? I have been looking for the name of the horse race but cannot find it. I heard it was the Viceroy Cup but has since changed. Can anyone help and give me more information. I want an actual web page with a yearly account of the winners. Such as if I look up the Melbourne Cup I can get a history of the event.
Should race horses be cloned? this is for a research project. In your opinion, should race horses be cloned. Would you like to watch the greatest horses of all time (ie War Admirial, Secretariet, Man'O War, Seabiscuit, Curlin, Zenyatta, this list goes on and on...) race and see who would come up on top. This is a theoretical question. But feel free to go in depth as you'd like. All opinions are welcome. Edit- Thanks for the input. I would really appreciate it if someone could give me a valid argument of why it would be a good thing. I am aware that the bad outweighs the good, but I need sources for an argument that supports it. thanks!
What is the greatest Horse Race that you have witnessed, either live or on Television? Mine was the 1975 King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes between Grundy and Bustino- clip below. Yours please, tvm. http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=GB&hl=en-GB&v=J4KvQ5fxsdE mysilv- very good shout. Sir Alan- that made the old hairs stand up! Mysilv- just for you mate! http://topspeedracing.blogspot.com/2008/07/video-of-ouija-board-winning-nassau.html
I don't understand why horses are put down after they break a leg.? I have been reading about Ruffian, called the greatest racing filly in the history of horse racing. Her story is so tragic, and I just don't understand why anyone would put her down after she broke her leg. Why couldn't they have nursed her back to health and kept her on a farm? She could have been the mother of other great race horses, couldn't she? My heart breaks for her and I can't stop crying. She didn't deserve a fate like that.
Why don't all Horses race in the Triple Crown? I've seen a list of Horses that are considered the best of all-time but noticed that not all raced the Triple Crown or won it. What races are the biggest? How come horses like Cigar or Seabiscuit are considered one of the greatest but never ran the Triple Crown?
Race horses? Ok, I bascially want any thing and everything you know about riding race horses. I know I'll get a lot of race horses are great I've ridden loads of retired race horses but these ones are different. These horses are not well trained lesson horses. This is a follow up to that question about "I've almost lost confidence in riding help!" I've quit that stable but the other one I found only has retired race horses. I'm in a devolping country abroad and am about a intermediate riding level. I know to keep a lighter pressure on the reins and it doesn't take big kicks to get a canter so what else? Advice? Is it ok for me to ride race horses like this? If you've ever ridden horses that just retired plz tell me every thing. I need advice pronto! Thanks soo much! PLZ Give me advice! I really think that I could ride at this stable wit some help... You don't really understand the term "devolping country" I'm living in Azerbaijan! They don't train horses well here. The problme is I'm here for 4 years and feel that since I'm already 12 skipping these 4 years would make it impossible to have a career with horses. Is it better to ride a race horse freash off the track or a green horse that hasn't had training? I'm about intermidiate but am not sure what's best... If anyone has an idea what I should do help? I was wondering why race horses race at two years old? I am not trying to start an uproar, I was honestly just wondering. I have had a lifetime of experience in the more "western" side of horses, with a smattering of dressage, and a little more hunter/jumper, but have never really spent much time on the paddock side of the track rails. I see horses "started" at two in western training, but not really put under a great deal of strain until they are three or older. I am looking for an informed answer from the inside of the track, thank you.
Mexico, use to have a great thoroughbred horse race patronised by the Hollywood elite.? Now it is discontined. I remember reading about our champion from down under Phar Lap winning that race. What'is the most popular Group 1 horse race in Mexico and why is it so popular. I have asked this question in the horse racing section but no luck. Now I would like to know if there are any fan's of boxing who love horse racing could they supply an answer.
Greatest Horses never to win the Triple Crown? 1. Sham; yes Sham. Even though he did not win any of the Triple Crown races. He was just unlucky to be in the same 3 year old class as the great one Secretariat. Even though he finished second the Derby he still broke the track record. He could have easily beaten the other horses in the Belmont if he did not have to spend his energy early trying to keep up with Secretariat. 2. Risen Star (Belmont) he should have win the Derby if not for a bad ride. Second fastest Belmont only to his father Secritariat. 3.War emblem 2:01.13 (Derby) If he did not fall at the start of the Belmont he might have won the race. 4. Spend a buck 2:001/5 (Derby) 5. Monarchos 1:59.97 (Derby) 6. Alysheba Almost falling down twice in the Strech run and still winning. Horses I did not put on Real Quiet: look at his times. yes it was close but against my top 5 he would have lost. Alydar; Great 3 races. Second in all 3. Slow times in all 3.
I would like to know what is the most important horse race in India.? Group 1 thoroughbred horse races. I have heard of the the Viceroy Cup but I haven't got much information on it. I would like to compile a list of the greatest thoroughbred races in the world. So far I would like to get more information from there great races in India, please. Viceroy Cup. Viceroy Cup, Eclipse Stakes of India, any answers please.
Who is the best racing horse of all time? I have my own opinion on which one it is... but maybe my mind can be changed. At their prime in a "fantasy horse race" Out of all of the greatest horses that ever raced: who would you choose to win and why? Make a case. Even "what if's" can be argued here... for instance you think Barbaro was the best all-time... not saying he should be mentioned but who knows...
What is the best FREE way to advertise the great Santa Fe Trail Horse Race coming in September 2007? I've added the info to the "Interactive Santa Fe Trail" web page at http://www.kansasheritage.org/research/sft/index.html and a Santa Fe Trail email group, but think there MUST be better ways to find actual horse owners who might be interested in signing up to participate in the race to see how fast a team of horses can go from Santa Fe, NM to Independence, MO. In 1848 Francis X. Aubry won a $1,000 bet by making the trip in 136 hours (5 days and 16 hours). Six of his horses didn't survive the trip, but I'm not sure how many horses he started with. More info is at http://www.kansasheritage.org/research/sft/horses.html

I want to become a registered horse trainer and put my own horses into races- though i do want advice? I have a passion for horses, i have loved them since i was a little girl, now growing up i want to go into a horse industry, my option being racing. My idol is the greatest horse to ever hit the turf- New zealand born Pharlap. Aswell as being a horse fanatic i am an artist. i have no idea if you guys can see my profile photo, but i drew that horse from scratch. I am aware of the enourmous cost's of owning, let alone racing a horse. Im starting a Traineeship just after my 15th birthday to get a certificate in Training. this course will determine my future in the racing industry. i have found a website that has all the products i will need to train a racehorse, on my own, for those of you considering starting your own training business, or just want a stable go to- http://www.ggengineering.com.au unfortunantly they do not give out prices so i dont know roughly what the equipment will cost me, and yes i am aware it will be well over thousands. im having trouble though, finding horses of good quality and bloodlines. my biggest question is, where do i look for a quality horse, and should i race the horse? and for or the people who hate the racing industry because of what they do to horses- no i will not sell a horse so it can get butchered- its bloody wrong.

Should Easy Goer be considered the greatest horse ever? The horse was only beaten in the Breeders Cup Juvie and The Kentucky Derby because of his displeasure for the peanut butter like slop of Churchill Downs (and he still managed 2nd in those races). He was only beaten in the Preakness and Breeders Cup Classic because Pat Day for some reason (still unknown to this day) took an equine machine, and tried to make him "start and stop" three times each race instead of just letting the horse run his guts out. He could have won both of those by 10 lengths.
Will this ex race horse be good for a beginer? I am looking for a good horse but I am very much a beginner I can only walk and do a posting trot. So I found this horse that's for sale the only problem is that she is a ex race horse but other then that she is a great horse! But my mom will not let me own a Thoroughbred especially one that is a ex race horse because of there need to run and all that. So click on the link and let me know what you think will this be a good horse for me or not? http://www.horseville.com/php/view.php?id=218041 btw my mom has been around horses her whole life and owned a horse for 7 years so she would take care of it until I learn how to.
Who is your favorite horse race caller and what is your favorite racetrack? I like Trevor Denman. His accent is fun to listen to and he does a great job of calling the race. It makes the race more exciting when I hear is voice and it isn't as flat as an American accent. My favorite racetrack would have to be Santa Anita and then Del Mar. I live very close to both so I probably am a little biased. I love the history at Santa Anita and how beautiful it is!
what do you think of the famous horses...? jet deck and dash for cash. which one do you like better. i favor both. i am a freak about qh and tb horse history. i have a horse now that has blood lines by the two above and many other great horses. also why do people say Hancock horses are mean. i heard stories from two sides. one says he was a great sire and has a great imprint on many horses today also that he was a mean horse. so what is your opinion on him do you have a horse bred by him. who is your favorite race horse? sadly some are very abused and i feel very sorry for them. thanks for answering!! please nothing rude or mean!!!
Who was your favorite race horse of all time? Notice I didn't say "the greatest", I said your favorite. It could even be Zippy Chippy if you happen to like him. For me, it's a toss up between Holy Bull and a couple of his sons Macho Uno and Giacomo, Cigar, Da Hoss, and John Henry. Loooove them.
Horse racing ??? - how can a jocky just change horses at the last minute? So I have a question about the Preakness yesterday... The jockey that changed horses to the winning horse, Calvin Borel...how can he just change horses at the last minute?? I mean, doesn't that mess up everyone else? Who was supposed to ride Rachel Alexandra originally and why didn't that jockey have a say in it? Just dont' get how that works. Thanks for any insight. I'm a fan after watching Preakness. What a great race!
Can you think of any race horses that you would consider to have been overshadowed by their foes? I was wondering if anyone could think of Thoroughbred's that were over shadowed by their peers. The only ones I could come up with were Sham,Fair Play,Alydar, and I suppose Hard Spun. Most of these guys will be remembered because of the horses who they usually were behind.I know some turned out to be great sires and that's how they are remembered(such as Fair Play with Man O' War),but forget that. Also,if you have any photos of any of these horses, exspecially Sham could you tell me where to find them?
If you suddenly inherited a race horse with great potential... ...and had to choose a name, what would you name him/her ? Oh, Dragon...I hear ya...but it's a hypothetical question...I have heard some really weird race horse names and was just thinking what some of you might lean towards. It's just for interest, that's all :) Evelyn

Phar Lap Death Resolved after 75 yrs????? After 75 years, scientists have finally came up with the testing on Phar Lap one of the greatest race horses in the 30's. It was resolved and declared on Tuesday June 17, 2008 by 11 scientists, and the DNA testing that was submitted to them in February of this year, from the remains of the horses autopsy of 1932, when back then it remained a mystery, as they did not have the lastest testing methods...this is a shame Phar Lap died of Arsenic Poisoning, and a lot of it.... CNN states horse was killed to prevent him from running ever again....... I have the movie of Phar Lap and it is so sad to watch this horse die in the movie.......and now the mystery is resolved.. did someone in the horse world do this, or did the owners do it for insurance, that still remains a mystery, and one I am sure they will never know, since the 4 owners of the horse all are dead now.... Have any of you ever seen this horse run.....not even Barbaro culd have caught this horse back then.. This also comes up on the front page of Yahoo...interesting reading... Yes the book from Tommy the trainer was obtained, but back in 1932, he declared, he had not been given orders to give any such things to the horse, and swore till the day he died, he never gave the horse arsenic, and the amounts of arsenic found in the body was all from one dose, a massive coronary caused his death due to the arsenic....one lump dosage.. not over a period of time....
Are there any public horse race tracks in IL? I live in Chicago, and I was wondering if anyone knew a place where I could trailer my horse, and use the race track. I've always wanted to know how well my horse could do on the track, and if there is a place that is public, or will allow me to test theirs out, that would be great! Thank youu!
RACE HORSE TRAINING?HELP? Heyy. well I have a 4 yr. old race Pony. Can 2nd at a Race so Far, just wondering do you think that if I use Blinders/Blinkers on him it will help him focus better? Also When I am riding him I can tell He not even Half Trying. At the End of a Race we came in 2nd he Barely even Broke a Sweat. Plus we've seen him Move! But in the Race he seems Slow. Please Help. READ BELOW! _______________ HE HAS NEVER HAD AN ACCIDENT OR BADLY ROUGHED IN A FIELD. WE'VE HAD HIM SINCE FOAL. HE WAS BORN HERE. AND HE LOVES TO COMPETE. HE JUST SEEMS TO BE NERVOUS AT THE TRACK WITH HORSES HE DOESN'T KNOW. WHEN HE IS ON OUR TRACK RACING WITH OUR HORSES HE IS GREAT!!!
Are there no great racehorses anymore? I was just thinking about racehorses, and mostly about Ruffian & Seabiscuit because I saw those movies again recently... but it got me thinking.... why is it, or do you think, that there are no great race horses anymore? I mean, the Triple crown hasn't been won in 29 years, not since Affirmed in 1978. Horses like Seabiscuit, Ruffian, Seattle Slew, Secretariat, Affirmed, and others... these horses captured the nation. They were idolized, they meant something to their trainers, their owners, their jockeys, the people of the country. Phar Lap inspired the world. Why does it seem there are no "great" horses anymore? Is it the mentality of the country? That we don't need that kind of inspiration anymore? Is it we are breeding weaker horses, not just of body, but of mind, too? Is it that the trainers or owners and breeders are more focused on money, or breeding enough that maybe one will turn out OK, that they don't take the time to nuture the one with the talent? It just seems to me that a horse like Seabiscuit, he was cultivated, cared for, given that chance that few get. Ruffian was idolized and never would have been beaten. Seattle Slew nearly unbeatable. These horses seemed to care about their work, seem to fell the needs of the people around them, and it gave them heart to do it and they never stopped. Phar Lap was indescribable, and so were many more. Now, though, it just seems, we place our hearts into horses like Fusiachi (who drew big money and didn't quite live up to the hopes), Afleet Alex, Barbaro. But still, none of those horses proved to be true champions. Barbaro maybe would have been, who will ever know. Is it the trainers? The horses? The need just isn't there? I mean, in 1929 and 1930, people were taking their last pennies and going to see Seabiscuit run. He inspired everyone who needed that second breath. Ruffian spoke for women everywhere. These horses tried, and it just seems they don't anymore.
Who was the greatest European/English racehorse of all time? We've had the question of who is the best racehorse ever, and the answers seemed to me to be centered around American horses. But some of the greatest racehorses of the twentieth century raced in England or the continent: undefeated champions Nearco and Ribot and Sea-Bird; Brigadier Gerard, Mill Reef, Allez France and Dahlia, Vaguely Noble and Hyperion, and many, many more. So who do you rate as the best of "across the pond," and why?
re schooling an ex race horse? hi, i own a 15.2 thoroughbred mare, who stopped flat racing when she was 8 yrs old (she is 13yrs going on to 14 next year) and i have owned her since she was 11. and now we have gotten to both trust and know each other i would love to re school her. we have been jumping anything from 1 ft to 4 over the past 1 1/2 years. i am planning to give her a 6 week break next year from the 23 of feb to the 6 of april, in order for her to have a fresh start. and on the 6th we have our easter break (im still at school) which is 2 weeks and 2 days so i will have plenty of time to work with her, getting her used to being back in work and understanding that leg doesn't always mean go! lol so what i wanted to ask was what would be the best way to start re schooling her (i might be getting an instructor once every 2 weeks for lessons but i doubt i will be able to afford it! :( ) and are there any books/websites that are particularly useful? and if you have any personal stories to do with re schooling ex race horses would be a great help as well! thank you! and because Gem (my ex racer) is soooo cute (lol) here's some pics xx this i Gem when i was trying her out (v different to now!) http://s251.photobucket.com/albums/gg300/shesagem2662/?action=view¤t=DSC00622.jpg nowish http://s251.photobucket.com/albums/gg300/shesagem2662/?action=view¤t=gemginaandme041.jpg http://s251.photobucket.com/albums/gg300/shesagem2662/?action=view¤t=gemginaandme030.jpg http://s251.photobucket.com/albums/gg300/shesagem2662/?action=view¤t=gemginaandme025.jpg http://s251.photobucket.com/albums/gg300/shesagem2662/?action=view¤t=horses106.jpg http://s251.photobucket.com/albums/gg300/shesagem2662/?action=view¤t=2496005138a8317048303l.jpg http://s251.photobucket.com/albums/gg300/shesagem2662/?action=view¤t=wooooo90000019.jpg Gem has got a new bit now (that 1 was way too heavy and chunky!) this is the bit which she has got now, would it be ok for re schooling? http://www.foxhunter.on.ca/bitpics/1644.jpg
2 questions about Horse Racing? (Details inside)->? Probably some silly questions but I don't have much Horse Racing knowledge so please bare with me. 1) How does a Horse Owner know that a Horse has potential to be a good or great Race Horse? 2) When the Jockey hits the Horse with the riding crop(if that's what it is) Does it hurt the Horse?
Wasn't It A Great Race By Well Armed? I was thoroughly impressed by Well Armed's pillar to post win. And to think he was nearly put down 2 years ago Final race at Nad Al Sheba, the first winner was another great American horse, Cigar, and only fitting that another American horse closed the chapter in convincing style. How often do you get a 14 length victory in a major International Grp 1 race? Enjoy this great theme by Vangelis: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4PH-EV6OmE&feature=PlayList&p=488AB8844F54AB14&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=1 I am not American, as such don't really follow much horse-racing in the US, except the big ones: The Triple Crown Races, The Breeders Meet and the occasional Grp 1 race I am also not a 100% true racing fan, but I follow lots of sports including racing. I tend to follow the major races throughout the globe. Quite soon in April / May, we will have The AP Queen Elizabeth II Cup in Hong Kong, The 1000 & 2000 Guineas in England, Kentucky Derby, etc. But before all that, is this super steeplechase event on 4th April 2009 in Liverpool, England, The Grand National . 40 horses enter, but less than a quarter finish. It may be deemed cruel to some, as the fences are notoriously difficult, and many horses have suffered injuries in this race. But its' excitement is mesmerizing. Try to catch it on TV if you can, or go to You Tube, to watch past races. .
Questions about harness racing? Who is the greatest harness racing horse in history? What is the record for most consecutive harness racing victories? What is the biggest race for a harness horse to win?
the cheltenham gold cup looks a 2 horse race on paper (kauto star..denman)..but is it?? monkerhostin finished 4th last year. he ran a great race trying to give over the creek 20LBS, and got beat 2 lengths at cheltenham in december. he has been given a gentle preperation by his trainer and the gold cup is his main objective this year, with a possible tilt at the national if all goes well. will he beat kauto star or denman?? time will tell...but, he is running on his fav course, shud hav goodish ground, will be fit, he will hav 1 of the best jocks around on his back, and he will be running on late in the race...all in all he MUST hav a great each way chance of making the frame..YET, he is priced at 100/1. i strongly suggest you all hav a small each way bet at 100/1..AND..the tote are offering betting without kauto star, denman and exotic dancer in the race, and they are offering 25/1 for monkerhostin...which means he cud finish 4th, 5th or 6th and u wud still get paid out, if u backed him each way at 25/1..but please dont miss the 100/1 available..good luck to u all
Views on Ruffian? what are your views on the filly Ruffian? do you think she was the greatest race horse of all time or not? I'm doing a paper on her and just would like some opinions on her, what you thought of her career etc.
does anyone know of a place to ride horses in Western Massachussetts? I am currently living in El Paso Texas and have made a great friend here who has taught me to ride horses (mostly barrell racing though) and now i am headed back to Western MA to visit my family. I was hoping to be able to go riding on some trails out there but have not been able to find a place to go riding. Does anyone know of some stables out there that would allow you to ride by the hour on their horses since i dont have one of my own there?
afleet alex? Does afleet alex belong in the same mention as some of the great race horses? I really liked this horse.
Tell me what you think... Please! ThAnX☺? Okay, I was on YouTube the other day and watched this really cool video on, well really the DREAM DERBY. The race is fake but like it seems so real! Who is the greatest rapper ever? I don't care who you think is it's a 2 horse race. Biggie or 2PAC. I say Biggie. His flows are so much smoother than 2Pacs. He's just flat out better. BTW I think Eminem is the best LYRISIST ever.
How do I become a Jockey? It has been my dream since I was a child. I have shown for 9 years and people that I have met over the time say I would do great in the horse racing industry. I am small enough for quarter horse racing. I am having a hard time staring off. I know that is natural but I really have no idea where to start. There are no schools for this, that I am aware of.
Who here is disappointed in Lava Man's race yesterday? I felt bad for the horse and his connections.I hope he has a win before he retires, but that might not happen. I am a fan of "Lava Man" and I still think he is a great horse. edit// I didn't mean he ran a bad race,I was just wanting a win for him.

Should I buy a horse with arthritis? I'm starting a kids camp and want a horse that is extreamly mellow. Looks like I've found one. He's an old race horse that injured his fetlock in front foot. According to the owner, this has perfectly healed. He has developed some arthritis in his back legs and can't run and shouldn't be rode by anyone more than 150 pounds. However, he is the sweatest horse in the world and I think he'd be great around kids. I want to indroduce young kids to horses, and a horse like him would be wonderful since he's as soft and sweat as a puppy dog. I have no reason not to belive the owner, and the owner says the horse needs no medication. Since I'd like to use him for young kids, I'm thinking he'd be perfect. Except of course, if he's going to cost me thousands of dollars down the road because of his arthitis. So my question is, should I buy a horse that has 2 bad legs. And if I do, what is the worst case scenario? How bad can arthritis get? Help! I just wanted to add that the horse isn't old at all, he's only 8 and is so so nice. And if you're going to leave me an answer, please elaborate....oh man you should is meaningless!
Using Eclispe Java Programming, How Do I Make A Random Horse Race? Can anyone give me a code for this assignment: There are a number of horses and each round each horse has a random number generated from 1 to 100 that will advance the horse along the race track if the number is greater than 50. You can have as many horses as you'd like, up to 15. Also, you can make the race as long as you'd want. All work has to be done in methods and/or arrays. 1|----------H-----------| 2|--------------H-------| 3|---H------------------| I was also wondering if there was a way for me to put pictures in, if anyone knows how, all help is greatly appreciated. Thank you! PS- It does not have to be in Eclipse, I just need to be able to run it on there.
What would Eight Belles and Barbaro think of PETA? We know how PETA is trying to boycott and ban horse racing, but what would these two horses think? Many people think they both loved racing and had great heart. What would they think if their sport was gone forever? How about other racehorses, like Seabiscuit or Secretariat? In other words, would they say "thanks!" or "back off!"? Thanks! I totally agree with all of you. PETA just needs to leave horse racing alone. I'm going to put this is a different category & see what happens.
I need help with my Thoroughbred Desire?
