Fattening up my English Bulldog puppies? I have an English Bulldog, who gave birth to seven beautiful puppies five and a half weeks ago. Unfortunately, the mother died suddenly 26 hours after they were born. Five of the puppies survived with the bottle feeding of goat milk diluted with a little water. They are now off of the bottle feeding and I am feeding them can food. The sad thing is, I don't think it is enough. Is there something out there that you know that will help fatten them up to how I am used to in past litters.
Why are some English bulldog puppies free for adoption? I have been researching English bulldogs and have been wanting one for quite a while. The only thing that holds me back to get one is the high cost. In my local newspaper, I have come across some classifieds where the pups are free for adoption. They say that they have been vet checked, but it sounds too good to be true. I sent an e-mail to the seller and just received a reply. Looking for siblings of English Bulldog puppies from a litter in Johnstown Ohio born August, 2006? My family purchased an old English Bulldog Puppy from a local breeder in Johnstown Ohio in October of 2006. I am looking to find anyone whom may have purchased one of these puppies as my family feels we have been scammed. There were 13 puppies in the litter. Our dog is registered through the NDR, however he is not believed to be an English Bulldog. He is about 3 ft tall, weighs approx. 80 lbs and is 8 months old. English Bulldog Puppies for adoption? I'll get straight to the point. There are three english bulldog puppies at the pound 12 weeks and they have been marked for being put down. There's nothing wrong with them, I've seen them myself and the vet at the pound said they are in perfect health, no one around just likes English Bulldogs. (I love all dogs.) I am heavily considering adopting them, they will most certainly get a ton of attention from me. (I work out of my home, they will hardly be left alone.) The environment they will live in: 4 room apartment (pet allowed), lots of pillows everywhere (For some reason I just have lots of pillows). The living room has two couches and a recliner, and a mounted wall TV. The bedroom is just several mattresses stacked on top of each other. I keep the place relatively clean, just very cluttered with things like pillows and blankets. If they want to (a question I would like answered if dogs sleep in the same bed usually) they would be allowed to sleep with me, I just need to make arrangements for that. I've got a room that really isn't used that I can also set up, it is so far going to be used for feeding and dog toy storage,etc. The rooms themself are actually *pretty* big, so they won't be too confined. I just really don't see them getting outside ALOT, like I'll take them walking probably at least once a day, the rest would be playing inside. I have a ton of money for vet bills, etc. My job pays quite well, plus lets me stay home with them. Are English Bulldogs good for this lifestyle?

In regards to not doing my research....I understand that some people call them just plain Bulldogs. However, there are French bulldogs, olde English bulldogs, English bulldogs and the rare Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog. Is loose stool normal for a 9 week old English Bulldog Puppy? I have a 9 week old English Bulldog. The breeder gave me a bag of Diamond Naturals Small Breed Puppy Formula. Raising newborn English Bulldog puppies PLEASE HELP!!!!? Hi! My English Bulldog had puppies yesterday, and unlike most bullies, she is actually nursing her pups, which leads to my questions. I know they are getting colostrum right now, but how long does it take for the milk to come in? I am supplementing them with puppy milk (just a small amount) after each feeding to make sure they are actually getting milk. One other question, she favors letting them nurse on one side. Should I try to force her to let them suckle on the other side every other feeding? She had 5 pups and has 10 nipples. I have raised other litters before, but this is the first time one of my girls has nursed, and I really want to do everything right. Thanks!! Oh, and please don't leave any negative remarks about breeding. I am very dedicated to my dogs and pups. I even take back puppies if the circumstances change for the new family. How long do you feed English Bulldog puppies every two hours? I've just had English Bulldog Puppies on 8-08-08 and they are doing great! But, I was just wondering how long do you feed the puppies every two hours? Is it a week, 5 day, or 2 week. They eat from the mother and seem to be doing great, nothing going wrong, its just an unanswered question of mine. And also has any one ever had their female give birth before the C-section? Mine did. She was set for the C-section to happen 8-08-08 @ 8:30 Am, but started having the Pups at 5:00 am, we called the vet while it was going on and he said that as long as she not pushing for 30 min. and not have any thing that she would be find to have them on her one.. has this ever happened to anyone else? All are priced at 1,000+ dollars and honestly i'm not willing to pay THAT MUCH for a dog. I want one but not that bad..is there anyplace that i cand find them for cheaper? Even if it's online? Would a Jack russell terrier get along with an english bulldog? We have a jack russell and we are starting to worry that she doesn't get enough interaction with other dogs. We took her to the vet, and she was aggressive around the other dogs. She didn't use to be like this though... We are considering getting an english bulldog puppy so she has a companion. Would they get along?
Does anybody know of any reputable English Bulldog breeders? We are looking to buy an English bulldog puppy and would like to find a reputable breeder, any help would be appreciated.
