Small dogs? I have been thinking about a getting a small dog that could live in a medium size apartment in LA. I don't know what breed i should get so suggestions will be helpful. Also, i heard that smaller dogs are more louder than bigger dogs. Is that true? The dog has to be pretty small for the apartment rules. I am not sure about the weight limit we have. Please no chihuahuas though... Thanks for the help. Heres some more info since people requested it. I am a full time medical student so I don't have a lot of free time on my hands. I have small dogs and wanted a Bigger one would they get along? I have three small dogs and was thinking of getting a bigger dog like a german shepherd, but i dont know whether theyd get along or not. If i socialized them while the dog was a puppy would they get used to eachother? Would they fight as he got bigger??

How to prevent aggression from small dogs? We just got a new dog. English bulldog, very sweet, mild-tempered. One of our other dogs (smaller of two) is a long-haired chihauhau, and acting very aggressively towards the bulldog, while the bull just stands there and, though growling back, does nothing. The chihauhau seems to be the only one with a problem. How can I prevent the smaller acting aggressively towards the new member of the family?
