Wild Animals? We cage and display some wild animals because they are man eaters. When ineptitude leads to one of these animals escaping and attacking man, we are then forced to kill it. Which wild animals eat blackberries and how? I can't work out how animals can easily eat the blackberries that grow on wild bushes given that there are all the thorns. I know the thorns are to protect the plant and prevent grazing animals from eating the leaves and stems, but the bush needs animals to eat the fruit and spread the seeds (like all fruit plants do). One of the management official says that tiger, lion, grizzly bear and gorilla maybe kept in the same enclosure, because they are all well trained and raised in captivity since birth. However, if you keep tiger, lion, bear and gorilla in the same enclosure, aren't they going to fight with each other? There was about five screams, each about five seconds apart. Each time it sounded exactly the same with no variation. It was very eerie. My husband and I went outside and checked it out, but we saw nothing out of the ordinary. Our dogs barked for a short while and then stopped as it were no big deal. Could it have been a wild animal. I really don't believe it was a person; we live out in the country and do not have many neighbors. This is in the southeastern US.
