This beautiful boy is Emmitt and believe it or not he is still

Summary: This beautiful boy is Emmitt and believe it or not he is still a puppy 8 months old as of August 1st   Emmitt is a very good boy and is crate trained and knows his basic commands He walks well on a leash but does get anxious in new situations Usually after a few minutes he adjusts and is back to his happy go lucky self    You may have noticed that Emmitt is a bit on the big side for his age Well you are right he is about 80 lbs at the time of this picture and will definitely be a 100+lb dog Emmitt has lived with other dogs and cats since he was about 7 weeks old and loves being one of the pack He loves to play with the cats and will wrestle with his foster brother Rudy also on the site for hours on end He is a digger outside but sticks mainly to the areas that have been deemed his Because of his size and his age he is not graceful and gets tangled in his own feet more often than not We suspected hip dysplasia when Emmitt was about 4 months old but our vet has said that he does not have any resistance to movement and that it is probably the rate of his growth that makes his movements awkward and the fact that he was extremely malnourished when we found him has caused Emmitt to play catch up We have been assured that when all is said and done he will be a very big healthy boy Emmitt has been neutered and his current on vaccinations
